Moved to Accessories.
Which silicon case did you get? Got a link.?
I have a silicon case, the two part one, with its own slide. Mine fits ok, however, it is slightly loose, but not loose enough to come off. It makes the phone a little more bulky, but protects it well, however, it gathers dust, and fibres very easily, which is annoying.

Oh right. Mine is for the N95-1, not the 8GB model. Update your profile to include your phone model, and firmware. Checkout my signature below on how to find out your handsets current firmware.
Looking at the photos, it looks more flimsy then mine, but having said that, I guess you get what you paid for.
I can't make them out in that photo, but does yours have the metal built-in slider rails?

Here's a couple of photos of mine fitted to my N95-1
As you can see, these cases are dust magnets.

I have that same black case, and because I keep my phone in my pocket, it was always looking grubby. I also did not like the way it made the phone become bigger as it was overbuilt on the sides.
One good thing it that on the vinyl dash of my old, old BMW, it does not slide around like my old phone used to...it stays put. I use it for long car trips. HA!
