3rd Party battery
Could a 3rd party battery damage my N95. The battery life isn't great so I purchased what I believe to be a long life battery from ebay (I bought it a few months ago but never tried it but as I have installed iplayer I’m going to need more battery life) it looks the same as the Nokia one and fits ok, the only difference is it doesn't say Nokia on it and it should be 1200mah compared to the Nokia 950mha (the battery doesn’t have any markings on it to show the mha but the ebay advert said 1200mah)

If this will work ok, can anyone recommend a good piece of software to see if it does provide more battery life?

Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place, I'm new and still learning.

personally i wouldnt touch a 3rd party battery, my old motorola v3 was killed by an ebay battery. Battery got warm and the phone went off and never worked again.

And i wouldn't touch a third party battery with a barge pole.
