And another question lol do you have to fit the spare camera shutter that is supplied or cant you just put the case on like normal?

thats quite strange - the images seemed to work yesterday. I'll fix up the images when I get home from work.

The camera shutter is actually stuck onto the PCB so you don't actually need to use the one that is supplied with the black housing.

EDIT: REPOSTING IMAGES

Joe informed me that he will be posting me a replacement black faceplate from the new batch he received. Hopefully this one doesn't start scratching/rubbing off paint. I think I may invest in an InvisibleShield just to be safe.

im just going to keep asking for another until he sorts it out if this new batch still carries the same problem, we should nt have to buy protectors for it.

I agree with you there kyle - It's not supposed to be us who ensures that the paint doesn't scratch off so easily - It's the manufacturer's and seller's responsibility to put in place some sort of quality assurance! Joe told me to let him know over time how the faceplate he's sending me goes. If it is still as dodgy as the first one I was sent, I not going to be too happy about it.

Well mine arrived and in the process of fitting it I broke the microphone! Searching now for a spare but cant find one. :(

dang, sorry to hear your mic broke! i left my botton and top pieces as OEM silver cos i didnt want to break any of the internal parts. hope you can find a replacement soon! keep us posted on your mod
