Does anyone know how to remove a stripped screw??
Was in the process of removing the slider screws, got excited and used the supplied torx tool instead of own ones.

try using a bit that is slightly larger than the screw "hole" be careful, and use an angle to try and work it slightly loose. don't use any lubricant, or heat.
i've had good success with similar screws using a square bit, because it grips the edges of the screw better.
good luck!

Ooo I've managed to bend the case a little and fits now! Well the top right corner does not clip on but no more fucus and gallery button issues!

Stripped screw heads

Sabrelli,

Just received this product called screw grab, supposed to make a better grip between screw head and driver bit. I got it here...http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Lubes-etc

Now just waiting for the correct sized torx bits from here...http://www.shop4tools.co.uk/acatalog...nsert_Bits.php

And will probably order spare torx screws from this place...http://microscrews.easywebstore.co.u...ews_B2UND.aspx

Hope this helps...

nice work kyle! yeh my top left corner of the back housing didn't clip on at first but after taking the case off and putting it back on a couple of times it must have bent a bit more and now clips on pretty well

on a side note, i received my replacement faceplate today but i do not dare try and test its durability on purpose :( don't want to end up with another scratched up faceplate. oh well, i am going to go get my phone gmasked this weekend so i will be putting the OEM casings back on and leave the black case for when i get sick of the gmask

Ask for another! Unless it was your fault, I think the black case is so sweet, I can post pics if anyone likes?

Nah it wasn't my fault - even if I ask for another one the back casings that he has in stock are still the same as the one he sent to me. the clips are very very flimsy and not being overly careful with them when opening and closing the battery compartment will result in the clips snapping. also i find that the back is very 'squeeky'. i'll be keeping my faceplate and will be buying a OEM graphite back housing when I get tired of my gmask - which won't be for ages because the gmask designs look sweeeeet
