Extra Battery? Would you buy it?
Can someone check out the stats on this site and see if they would use the same sort of battery in there N95.
Features:
Voltage: 3.6V
Capacity:950mah <=== bigger than stock Battery right
No memory effect
Integrated microchip prevents overcharging & lengthens battery life.
Compatible with following phones:
Nokia N95
N93
N93i
E65
6290
ETC ETC ETC

Thanks for taking the time to answer.
Had my N95 for about 1 week now and loving it to bits.
only thing i don't like about it is Battery Life and Ram
Everything else rocks! it does everything I need and more and with the bluetooth stereo headset its all i need no wires yay. But need more juice and a extra battery would be perfect.

i got one of those from ebay for $10 to use with the other N95 that my dad is using now. He uses the phone for texts and calls and he charges the phone by the end of the day, where i go on the internet a lot with wifi on mine and i charge the next day.

Erm.. The stock BL-5F is already rated at 950mAh! So no extra life there.
Plus it's far safer to buy the OEM battery at <11GBP here.

I'd never put a non-OEM battery in my Nokia. NEVER.
Don't you read the world news?
Get a spare official Nokia battery, get a car charger, a charger for work, or a Proporta USB charger. Don't risk your N95- or your life!

I think the give away is the fact that they won't show a pic of the actual item. Showing a Nokia branded item is highly misleading!

Exactly. Always buy genuine batteries unless you like exploding phones going off in your pocket
For all other accessories, you can skimp on quality. Except with chargers perhaps.
Remember that Dell laptop that blew up in fire at a conference due to a dodge battery? Nasty stuff.

Yeah seriously, I'm out in Taiwan and there's so many generic battery brands. I'd go with the original battery and charger for sure! You know they refurbish a lot of batteries out here, plus the original battery isn't say the price of an APPLE battery!

Spook, have you ordered one of the batteries you linked to? They don't look like oem to me, generic picture, no oem mention. Other batteries sold on this site e.g. Sony Ericsson ones are listed as 'genuine' and have an appropriate picture.
Just wondered if you or anyone else have bought one and can confirm oem or not.
Thanks
