I'm thinking of getting rid of mine tbh.. bit over the novelty of it and i think the audio cable on one of mine's buggered :-(

edit: scrap the cable bit.. the line out was just loose..

If anyone knows anyone in Aus who wants one :P $15 AU..

I might keep one as a spare though

Got my stand today,It was a bit tight to get on the stand the first time but it is ok now.

Everything works just fine, all conections are working great.

N95 sits nice & square on the stand as you can see.

Great bit of kit for £10 delivered from Ebay.

Sorry about the crappy photos.

Thanks again to Micky for the The Ebay link eBay My World - electronic_world to get this product

Agree, looks like cClock, with bold, and larger fonts in the settings.

I received an 8GB model this morning.

Pretty decent. It holds the phone nice and securely, and looks pretty decent on my desk.

I have a few concerns about the effect my particular setup may have on the handset. Will battery life be adversely affected by keeping the phone in the dock and effectively 'on-charge' all the time? And the backlight for the screen; I am running LightsOn so when the phone is charging on the dock, the keypad is never locked and the backlight remains lit.

Could this be an issue later down the road with battery life and screen staining?

No... When the battery's fully charged it won't accept any more charge... you could leave it on for two days straight without damaging the battery...

The second one I don't believe it will... People leave LCD monitors for the best part of years at a time, so I don't think a screen that small will get damaged from being on too much...

I thought that too, but both of my Acer monitors developed a habit of 'staining'. A window left in one place for too long causes a phantom image to appear (as an area of brightness).

Cheers for allaying my fears though. If there's any negative effects, I'll be sure to post them here. I have a new OEM spare battery anyway, just in case. ;)

Yeah true... How old are your Acers?? I've seen it happen on a couple of our older (3+ year) Dells, but then I figured, the average lifespan of a phone is 1-2 years, by the time the phone gets to that age, I'll have replaced it...

The other thing to remember is the LCD's on the phone are always on (when the phones on)... It's just the backlight that comes on...
