New Desktop Stand

Got myself a new desktop stand. I had one, but it was rubbish. This is my old one:

Never used the spare battery charger part, so it was pointless.

Found this one on eBay:

Came with a charger and cable but I'm always dubious about third party chargers and cables, so I'm using my official Nokia USB cable and charger cable with skinny to fat adapter (no idea why the stand has the fat Nokia charger socket).

Here's the phone in the stand:

I like how it has the 3.5mm jack too. On the rear you can then plug some headphones, speakers or stick it in the line in on your PC to have the sound through your PC speakers :D

Cost: £10.

No probs. The stand is pretty weighty too, so no danger of it toppling like my last one. When your phone is seated in it, it puts it at a nice angle so you can see the display easy.

Yes, very happy with my purchase :D

EDIT: Oh wow! Just read the small instruction leaflet. See the two small holes on the bottom of the stand? The right one is a charging light, the left one's a built in microphone! So you can use it totally as a handsfree.

As you have a spare battery in it, it probably adds a bit more weight so the toppling problem doesn't really exist for you.

The other issue I found was the skinny Nokia charger plug in the back of it, would often come out easily.

This new stand is great though 8)

EDIT: Just made a call with headphones plugged in the 3.5mm socket at the back of the stand. The in built microphone works well. The other half was able to hear me alright :D
