ok, i don't want to read the whole thread but did someone ask or are you going to sell those new rails for the slider? i don't even know if you can just put it on the phone like replace the old ones...

Thanks nokiaparts for the plum back housing and battery door, (ended up gettin a new n95 on the same day it arrived, with a graphite nseries logo, so i can choose to match my hair whenever (yeah you read that right). Cool!LOL)
the new rails will fit existing sliders - make sure you get both the clear plastic bit and the metal slide rail. However, im not sure whether anyone stocks just the rails. Nokia parts supply the whole slider mechanism for a good price but requres interchanging the screen from the your existing slider to the new slider. Only attempt this if you know what you are doing!
If anyone did stock the rails, they will be dismantled - as this item is not offered seperately by Nokia to any of the repair centres (as far as I am aware anyway)
I can't advise on changing the screen, as I have never actually done this myself (although I do see thousands of the things!)
