Forum Costs.
I've seen this on other forums and it's worked wonders.
The basics are forum members who make a one time donation towards the running costs of the forum..
In return they get some kind of status under their name, or access to a "paid member" only section. Where things are posted that are not shown on the full forum, I.E Discounts or % off games sold by the forum etc etc.
This is completely voluntary, and is a good way for the members to give a little something extra to the forum. And in return they maybe have a status ( currently N95 Guru etc ) put under their name that they can choose.
Only reason I put this forward is, I am a firm believer of giving something extra back for what I take.
What do admin think on this ?
Is it a good idea ? Are you happy as you are ? Am I a loon ?

Nothing today with being a simpleton mate.
Many people don't buy from the store, I know I have never done so. The store shouldn't be the only method of helping out the forum that we all take from.

TBH I havent ever looked at the store. I really think this is a good idea though, but maybe more of a donation than a demanded price.

Hummmm donation sounds better but there will allways be one that would just take the P with a donation......
So just make it a very low fee......please.

Sounds a bit like a "Buy a title" to me. The store is a good place to "buy" and at the same time contribute to the running of the forum. Please read the narrative by the forums' founder on the "Home" page and I quote just one paragraph of the statement - "This community is nothing without you, the users! Have your questions answered, learn about the latest firmware updates, or just get some tips and tricks for your mobile all by joining our free community. Join up with other Nokia N95 users from around the globe to discuss software, accessories, and more".
