Can we have an it's broke sticky?
With questions at the top, then a link to the text further down the post (or topic where covered?)
A Kind of, before you post, check the FAQ for common issues/questions
Like (just for starters, and heavily simplifed text):
I've bought my N95 in another country, am I covered by warranty in the country I live in?
Will debranding void my warranty?
Why is there a new FW version, but I can't get it?
How can I get my handset repaired? (NSC, network, retailer if within certain period, phone insurance co etc)
How long will the NSC take to repair my phone?
My Remote doesn't work (flick switch etc)
Caller can't here me (do loudspeaker and/or FW v11
Speaker/screen buzz - fix at NSC (while you wait repair at most NSC)
Slider wobbly - fix at NSC (while you wait repair at most NSC)
Improve battery life? Turn off wi-fi, BT etc etc
My N95 only lasts 1 day on battery. Is this normal, as tech specs say longer! Yes depends on features used
Can't connect to wi-fi secured network - link to good post/guide
Marks above '3' button - fix at NSC (while you wait repair at most NSC)
I Think we'd also need somewhere to discuss anything new, which can be added so that the thread can be kept locked, and clean ;)
Thoughts? I think these'd need categorising also into Hardware, software as appropriate - based on manual sub cats sounds good?

Cool.
I'll draft some bits up so we can get started.
Unless people want a particular category, or items. Naturally we can give credit to users for their answers.

Maybe it needs to be in a 'Newbie's Guide' Read this before posting kind of thing? A lot of newbies would probably look in General section for help in the first instance, you think?

Well if we are really clever, we could add a page before you can post a new topic, or text above to say "Your question might have been answered. Please read these FAQ blah blah blah".

I should think that we could auto send an email with the FAQ to new members. Mail pops-up, so it should be eye catching enough. Unless pop-up blockers stop it... hmmmm.

That's a good idea, and hey, it would sure annoy the spammers too!
