Can we post links as mobilecodes too?
Just to make installing new cool stuff easier ;)
I'm sure I've seen sites that auto convert links in vbulletin to show both the URL/description and a barcode containing the link.

lol - surely that's just using the barcode app for the sake of it ... but why not?
To be honest though, I forgot I even had the ability!
Maybe a barcode tutorial would be an idea to add to the HowTo section first?

True.
Just makes life easier than having to fire up the PC suite, connect the phone, download it, install it.
Just read the barcode, and install straight away.

Agreed - sounds like fun.
Again though, a turorial would be needed for some users to take advantage of this (me included).

The proviso being that all barcode-links must be accompanied by... and must match the same written link included in each post. Deliberately misleading mis-matches may result in a ban without warning!

I found that the hardest and most time-consuming part when I wanted to try the barcode-reader utility.... was finding it!
