the caps apps should work fine after that , then we can move on to getting those unsigned sis files installed
p.s. sorry for the late reply, i've been spread a little thin across a few forums, :/

Hi porselinaheart,
Great tutorial ... thanks alot!
Got a small problem though, I followed everything to the T but after making the .sisX signed file I try installing it but I get "certificate error contact the application supplier".
I have Nokia N95 8gb version V11.0.026
I have tried with about 6 different Route 66 applications and they all return the same error.
Any ideas at all?
;-(
Thanks alot!

hmmmmm..... did u replace the cert and key files and use selfsigning, if so, hold on, a couple of people have reported problems with route66. There is a rather lenghty solution, but gimme some time to work out an easier one. If you can't wait tho, PM me, and i'll send you the guide to the lengthier procedure.

Hi
i managed to get the nec files copied in to the correct folders, i did the whole procedure again, n the hack must have worked so thicko me must have done summat wrong, but i did use another 4 stage guide compiled by another person on this forum.
any who he suggests using sign not selfsign using leftys mobile signer, but same thing certificate error, if i use the selfsign, it seems to get a bit further i.e. would you like to install mobile 7 i click ok then it comes up with not trusted provider or something,
it must be something to do with the application?
is there a way may be to hack the original so it need not to be signed?
Thanks for your help
sorry for such a late reply on this just been realy busy wiv work not had chance to try it till lastnight
Thanks!
PS i wouldnt mind giving that long winded method a try if you wouldnt mind PMing me to cheers!

Hi,
Thanks for your willingness to help.
If you could PM me the lengthier version I would be glad to give it a shot (and grateful).
