Hey Guys

I searched, and didn't find anything, so I thought I better post up.

I was reading on Noeman, and Here, about "Hacking" S60.

So, has anyone actually done this? I'd love to change the menu layout, put separate folders here and there, change start up screen etc, but will only do it, if its safe :)

Let me know your experiences, and whats the best guide to follow?

I found this one, (can I link to other forums?) if not, feel free to remove, but its here

I have no problem what so ever with running the ROM patcher.
I have changed my startup screen and sound. Also removed the active standby such as Search for WLAN and Calander

ROM patcher? Any tut's or links to explain how to hack properly, without messing up the phone?

does hacking you phone mean that the warranty will become void and what are are advantages of hacking the phone?

Not at all. The hack is not permanent, it 'turns off' everytime you reboot your phone. And there is no real physical way to tell the phone is hacked.

I have finally decided that it's time to hack my phone as this is going to give me the best signing freedom.

What is the hacking guide that you guys recommend?

Theres alot of guides to modding on Symbian Freak.

Its now possible (from today as far as i can see) to sign any unsigned, untrusted applications without the use of ANY signing at all. I've tested and it works flawlessly.

You need ROMpatcher 3.1 and Installserver.exe, both available from Sybian Freak, in the modding forums.
