Re-map any key to any key (including the media keys!)

Hiya, this could be the answer to my prayers. Il download it soon but just wanted to check...........

does this mean i can change the gallery button to do nothing? i have a LOT of pics and vids on my phone and........

the other day i was driving home using the satnav and i pulled the phone out of the holder to re adjust it and i pressed the gallery button, cue waiting 3 hours for all the data to be loaded, very annoying!

Just thought id check, thanks a million if so!

Lol totally bamboozled me.

All i want to do is stop the big button on the side from opening the gallery when i press it.

All i can do is type in numbers?

confused sorry if im being stupid, but if anyone could tell me how to get rid of the gallery (permanantly i dont mind) button id be happy

Thanks! I wanted to swap the two menu keys over, i feel it's a shame leaving the pretty multimedia menu as i have a habit of using the regular menu.

Actually i don't know how to get it to work. Can someone tell me how i can swap the two media keys over with each other (the ones on each side of the arrow keys)

yes this is possible!

1. open the app
2.press right and go to keymap list
3.press left softkey and open options and choose add (name it whatever you want)
4.select the new item you just made and open it. then click add key pair
5.ok on the first line where there is a "0" press the center nav key. a list will pop up. find the gallery key (i dont know the exact name for it)
6. after that one is selected you can press the left soft key to save it. since you didnt map it to anything by selecting a key in the second space it will not be mapped to anything!
7. !!!important!!! once you get out of that press back (right softkey). when your back to your keymap list press left to go back to app list. click on all apps. a little menu will pop up and select the name of the maplist you made. now press right soft key to exit and there you go! anytime you turn off your phone you have to open magickeys again and close it to make it remap that key again.

ok same instructions as the person b4 but when u get to where you have to choose the first key find the menu key (the one on the left side of the nav keys) and select it. then go to the second space and press you ok key and find the other keys name (the one on the right) and select it. as of right now both keys are mapped to do the same thing as the right key
now go back to whatever u named this list and make add another key map. on the first key select the right keys name first and on the second item select the menu key exit back out and follow the rest of the instructions on my previous post. now both keys should be swapped

Okay, i have done it! Thank goodness, sorry for going on about it, I really like the moving menu more than the standadrd one, I find it pretty and I want to annoy my iphone chum.

Anyway, I found out after some research that when you go to choose what keys you want to use,and you dont know the number code, just press the green call button first, this should display 999. Then press the key you want, eg, gallery etc.



My nice N95 gets nicer every week

thanks for that info i was feelin the electronic rage starting but now am good
