(sorry if this is a n00b question) ive got a new n95 8gb model and everything above goes fine until i get to the part where i need to try copy to my c: drive.. the phone refuses to let me copy anything onto it (or create folders, etc) - its like its write protected or something..

don't suppose anybody knows why or have any suggestions do they...?

thanks...

*edit: Sorted.. It was me being a peon... ;)

Well I took the plunge and did this on the wife's N95-1.....worked a treat. The only tricky bit was figuring out how to copy the files with Y browser lol, but I got there in the end Now her phone has rotateme v2.1 working no probs what-so-ever

cheers again Geeza

Wow, only just spotted this gave it a go and WOW. It works.

Now, once it's all installed can I remove the two files I installed ? or do they have to remain installed ???

You can remove hellocarbide, i left Y Browser there as it's a very useful app for browsing around the phone.

Hang on, or do you mean the two you copied into the 'hack' directory, coz they can be removed from the memory card, but installer.exe must remain in the SYS\BIN folder.

Thanks for your feedback guys, helps give others a bit of confidence.

Ah right, I've removed HelloCarbride one, and I'll leave Y browser then.

No warranty issues?

Edit: Having problems with Y-Browser... Once installed it just isn't in the Applications folder. Any ideas?
