Nokia N95

Ok, got it working. I was only able to copy from within the PC suites file system. If I did it the usual click and copy via mass storage it would not give me the option to paste it in the phone file. So now I got the program up and running. Thanks alot for your effort.

That sounds a bit weird, out-of-the box you should be able to copy files to the phone when it's in Mass storage mode.

Is yours a standard N95 or a 'branded' one?

A little confusion copying the two files...but in the end all worked out. Installing Rotate Me just made my day!!

My phone is N95 8gig using firmware 20...Branded? Not sure what you mean

Has it got firmware that has been modified for a Carrier, for example has your phone got 'Vodafone' stamped all over it or 'Optus' or something like that?

It's the only reason i can think of that you couldn't just copy the files over.

hi i dont want to sound stupid but im a noob ive done everything in the steps but the only thing im struggling with is the copying of the two file there isnt an option through ybrowser to copy or do i do it through mass storage and if so how exactly do i do this thanks in advance dale....

It works perfectly I unistalled my signed Nokmote and reinstalled the unsigned Nokemote I have. No problem. Thank you.

An addition to your instructions I have F-secure installed and running it doesn't like 'Hello Carbide'. I ignored it and 'released' 'Hello carbide' so I could use it. F-secure thinks it's a virus, probably because your by-passing your phones in built certificate checks by using it.

In Y browser go to "Edit", it is there you'll find copy. You can copy both files at once from E:\Hack into C:\SYS\BIN. Rather than one at once.

Hi, Followed everything down to STEP 4 but can't seem to open Y-Browser. I can see it in App manager saying it's installed, but not visible in Applications like the Hello Carbide is. Any clues? Many Thanks.
