This is all fine and dandy except I am worried since my phone is still under warranty. Can my phone be changed back if i implement all this? ie firmware reflash. Any ideas out there?

Just hard reset your phone. You'll be back to square one i.e. an unhacked phone.

Hi guys, sorry i've been off the air a bit lately, been trying to move house (dramas!)
To everyone posting the caps on caps off method, i personally don't think it's easier, but that's just my opinion! and i had major dramas getting it to work reliably.
To anyone asking if you need Y-Browser if you have X-Browser, no you don't, just some form of decent file exploring program.

Just to confirm, yes, a hard reset will bring the phone back to normal.

Someone should update that info onto the first page then.

The one problem with that is that they don't all work, i've used X Browser and Y Browser to do it, but i used some other one which didn't, hence why i said to use some form of decent file explorer.
If i change it to say any file browser, i think it will open up a can of worms with people using dodgy 3rd party apps that can't get this to work. By the looks of it, some people are struggling as it is.

Thanks!
Once all this is done, can we erase the uploaded files? Some of them? All of them? None?
