Drebranded N95 8gb, problem with rotate

Hi,

My first post here so sorry if I am doing something wrong.

I have debranded a nokia n95 8gb and changed the language to czech for my friend.

Only problem we have is when we slide the facia to use the music buttons the phone doesn't change to landscape, it stays on portrait........ is this a bug or a simple change of a setting somewhere?

Welcome to the forums.!

If your running on the latest firmware for the N95-2, you will have auto screen rotation (ASR), but you have to switch it on, and sliding the front of the phone to reveal the music keys no longer automatically switches to landscape mode with the latest software.

To Use ASR, you need to make sure you have the phone up right too, not flat on the table etc.

To switch ASR on...

Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Personalisation> Display >Rotate Screen >ON

Thanks for the hint as I wasn't quite happy with the non responsiveness of my N95 8GB but it's top-notch now.
