No Running App Icon

With the information, i managed to patch the menu.mif file to get rid of the blue cirlce that shows when an app is running. You need a hacked phone with ROMpatcher installed, along with the c2z patch to make this work. Instuctions and applictations to hack your phone and install ROMpatcher are in my post here: Easy method of hacking N95 to allow installation of unsigned apps.

The c2z patch is available on Symbian Freak.

NoRunningAppIcon Patch:

Download this file:
NoRunningAppIcon.zip

1. Copy Menu.mif too c:\resource\apps\menu.mif
2. Using ROMpatcher, apply the c2z patch.
3. Go to your standby screen, and there should be no icon for the running app!

Tested and working on N82 and N95, should work on many more phones too.
