Ive tried changing Prod code
i get error code from nss telling me to try later
ive tried euro 1 and opperator (france)

So i put back original
and it says no upgrade
current 11.2.011
update 11.2.011

Very weird

I have a 8gb (B1.03 (RM-421))dont really know what that means
im both an unlocked phone that is branded with rogers

hey. i just unbranded my rogers phone as well. i ran into the same problems as you for the longest time. i have another thread at the downloads section about this. make sure your product codes are for n95-4 and not the n95-2.

I have N95 8gb had ver 11 RM-421 Rogers

This is really weird I got to upgrade to 20.2.005 N958gb (a6.02 Dont Know wht that means) ( RM-421 dont know what this means either??)

but weird stuff is happening??
I dont have the ASP Anywhere
everything is still kind of locked or Branded
cant read MP4 or AVI anymore

Its like my phone is still Branded cant find Nsu ver 21 anywhere

Please Help

I'm on the same boat as you lenmaster23..

I just got my phone from Rogers and wanted to debrand but can't seem to figure it out.

Try this, though I haven't tried it.

Upgrading Firmware when not allowed by NSU

You got to find the code that is going to work with your phone thats the probleme and its like if you got to find another branded version i used 0561948 for my 8g rogers but seem to still be stuck with weird branding of some sort

Please change your profile info to show N95-4 (RM-421) instead of N95 8GB - there are two versions of the N95 8GB and it leads to confusion.

The N95-4 is the North American Model (NAM) version and ASR (Automatic Screen Rotation), not ASP, is not available for it. It is only available for the N95-2 (rest of the world RM-320) N95 8GB version.

You have already upgraded to the latest firmware version available for your N95-4.

V.21 is available for the N95-1 (RM-159) only.

Please clarify what weird branding are you still stuck with, other people have used to same product code to debrand and upgrade from Rogers without any complaints. successful debranding + upgrade of Rogers N95-4

What i meant about weird was that it still seems that the phone is i still got problemes with it for signed apps and my startup web page is always nokia us portal i've tried to change just comes back to it and kind of down for the ASR that would of been cool.

Installing and signing apps has absolutely nothing to do with the branding of your phone - you still need to use signed apps regardless of branding.

Don't know about the web startup page, however it makes sense for it to be the Nokia page.

You should be complaining about your phone not being debranded if the default page was the Rogers page.
