Hi. Getting N95-4 8Gb. Want to know how to Unbrand?

Hello, Im new to this site. Im getting a N95-4 8Gb from my carrier and I want to unlock it and/or Debrand it. I dont know what the difference is but I know the phone becomes 10 times better without all those restrictions.

Can any one help me or direct me to information on how to do it myself?



And another question is, is GPS free with this phone?

N95 Tips

you'd need a corrensponding product code for your handset however. those on that page is for the N95-1/2

you're free to use gps. but if you're referring to guided voice navigation on nokia maps, then that is via subscription

Welcome to the forum. Welcome also to the Tips and FAQs section of the forum and most importantly - to the wonderful search function we have. That would be the rectangular box in the top right corner of your screen reading "Google custom search" with a magnifying glass next to it.

Look what comes up for example when you search for "N95-4 Rogers debranding":
