Just got my new 8gb card. With 16gb's released and 8gb's dropping in price like a stone, I thought it a good time to spend £13 and upgrade. :p

Anywho.

Since upgrading to v30, I've got an annoying startup issue, with the phone trying and failing to install some random app on the memory card. Couldn't find it in app manager so I gave up. No biggie, but a pain when I reboot.

So with the new 8gb, it's fine. Sweet.

So I've copied over my songs, pictures and fontrouter - all good.

But I want to copy over my Maps or more importantly, the saved locations - I could re-doenload the maps I guess.

Anyone know which folder holds the Map data, mainly the locations I've saved, but ideally the lot.

I just want to avoid copying over everything including that little app problem.

EDIT: Trial and error, think it's in "..\Private\20001f63" Can anyone confirm?

Yes I do see some things related to Nokia Maps in \Private\20001f63

Isn't there a folder named 'cities'?

Yeah, looks like the same content as in the folder I mentioned above. Which is odd.

I added an address, then searched for the most recently updated file on the card. Which lead me to the folder in \Private. Seems to work OK. Got me to Liverpool and back this weekend anyway.

And more importantly, no starup error now. :)
