Anyone Here Used Phoenix ?

I'm thinking of downgrading my N82 from v.30 to v.20, i just want to know if it's as nerve racking as it sounds?

Beware, installing Phoenix may cause problems with other connectivity software you use with your phone. I installed it, and tried to use it, it was power hungry, and caused a lot of problems, and when I tried to remove it, there were several files that I could not remove, I had to use a special piece of software to remove these files.

Just my experience.

I have read that i must uninstall Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Software Updater and any other Nokia Stuff.
- Uninstall Nokia Drivers like connectivity, flash cable, modem driver etc.
- Reboot PC.
- Clean temporary files and registry.

ahh I see
well due to the latest version of Phoenix keeps losing drivers I have now got PCsuite installed alongside it so it should run ok with it on the same system as I am running them that way here

BTW even with Phoenix I would strongly advise against downgrading as 99% of the time it kills the phone

I'll take that on board and forget about it then.

If it kills the phone can you then do the 'Flash dead phone' option and have you done many downgrades yourself?

Not many but from my experience , when Phoenix kills a device for what ever reason it usually reuires a swap or at least a trip to Nokia level 4
