Most of the time that conversation will lead to link trading, either posted in the forums, or by private messages sent via www.n95users.com.
We do not want to be the vessel for that kind of information trading. And besides, it's simple: If you want to talk about cracked software then go to another suitable forum where they talk about cracked software. We just kindly ask our members not to do it here as it is not necessary, there are other places for that.

So true, if I work I would like to get paid for my services. Same with the producer of the GPS program - they too would like to get paid or there will not be any money to fund the company.

I think Nokia have bough Smart2go.
And even if they were a separate company, Nokia would get a big cut.

Hmmm, I think where people, myself included are getting upset is that the first versions of the N95 had the voice route part included, which was changed via firmware updates later.
Nokia certainly do not advertise that "hey, your buying one of the most expensive phones on the market, but we have removed some of it functions and you cant use them unless you pay us even more". They sure didn't advise people that the firmware update would remove a free function so they could charge you for it.
What will be next? To use the accelerometer you have to pay for that to?

Whoa..where have you seen that the first versions of the N95 had "voice route part" included? To my knowledge is was just the tracking feature, which only showed progress on a route.
