Customizing the active standby screen?

As anyone ever successfully customized their active standby screen? I'm not just talking about the row for shortcuts to apps-- I would like, for example, to display more to-do entries when I have several (rather than just "3 to-dos not done", I'd like to show more of them). Or even cooler would be to have it show "3 to-do's not done" and be able to expand/collapse it, so I can see them all without having to open up the calendar app.

I've done some S60 programming (mostly python), but a hack of the active standby would likely be much more complicated (if even possible).

As far as I know it's not possible, or at least no-one has figured out how to do it yet. It would imply hacking Symbian OS itself, something that I would imagine i nigh on impossible given all the thought put into secuirty on the 9.1 platform... I do agree though, it would be nice to be able to do just that, I always have several to-do notes and havnig to open the calender to see them is a pain!

Unfortunately I also don't know a solution for this problem. But it would be nice to customize the media player's active standby view with more track handling options and more types of time display.

I think this is buried deep inside the OS itself, unfortunately modifying the OS would not be possible.
