Nokia N95

Hi guys/gals

Just got myself a new 8gig N95 after loving my original N95 but the 2nd menu on the N95 8gig seems to be static and un modifiable unlike the silver N95..which doest bother me that much, but what does, is on the Maps tab its got Sydney, New york and a couple of others...these maps aren't on my phone but it still shows links to them...anyone any ideas how to remove these?

I got those on my N82 as well,don't know how to get rid off them though,sorry.

try this - download Nokia Map Loader from the Nokia website, and when you run that program with your n95 connected via usb or other, click on the button that deletes all maps from the phone. the program advises to do that before loading maps onto the phone anyways.

Did that straight away when i got the phone,still there.

it's there when i first opened the phone and it will be replaced by your recent searched addresses once you play with your maps.

Ive done a few searches etc, but still get Burj Al-Arab, Sydney, Broadway and the Louvre....screwy phone

edit..

rite you have to save landmarks for it to overwrite the default ones on the menu

i want something software to put in my phone to navigate in romania......you can help me...?i have alsow maps loader with romania map but i cant navigate because he teel my...i dont have information for this area....i have nokia N95

Have you tried mgmaps software?
