JuiceCaster review
Ok so I'm finally fed up enough to share my feelings about this virus, I mean program. A little while back I decided to download JuiceCaster after reading that I could use it to upload to myspace and several other sites. To me this sounded like a great idea, that was until I actually downloaded it. I used the download section on my phone and the download was free so I figured I'd try it, BIG MISTAKE. After downloading and installing the App it started up and asked about purchasing options, I guess you need a subscription to the service to use it. Now that's not a problem at all but I didn't want to pay so I closed the app and then uninstalled it using App Manager. This is where I realized this program is more of a virus then a program and to me it's one of the worst written programs I've ever downloaded to my phone.
It's a virus not a program: After uninstalling the application I thought my troubles were done but I was wrong. EVERYTIME I take a picture it asks if I want to upload to JuiceCaster and the yes and no buttons do nothing but exit this pop-up. The camera is unuseable until you answer the question so if you want to take several pictures in a row YOU CAN'T, if you want to use the camera's auto timer for say a time lapse of the sun rise while on vacation YOU CAN'T because after EVERY picture you have to answer yes or no. As if that wasn't bad enough of a virus, every time you modify a picture or save a picture from a MMS it asks you if you want to upload,EVERYTIME. Now there may be a setting to change this but I UNINSTALLED IT already and now can't get rid of this virus. I have also tried several times to re-download the app from the download section but it fails everytime I try to open it.
I also decided to visit their website and contact them to see if I can get help, I wrote them with my exact problem and got the automated "We will respond within the next day or so" and have heard nothing so to me their tech support is just as bad as their program.
P.S. If I have to wipe my phone and reinstall everything and copy everything back onto the phone (about an hour or two job) then I'm going to be even more upset at this little virsus.
So my verdict on JuiceCaster is DO NOT DOWNLOAD, it is more of a virus then anything, I strongly suggest avoiding it at all cost.
