I thought 101 was a bit too close to 99 so had another quick run yesterday - 183km/h so that's ~114mph, private road of course officer ;)

Would be nice if the app had the option to display in MPH too but it's a fine little toy for incriminating yourself.

Good luck and play safe :)

Are you talking about displaying MPH at the same time as KPH because you can pick which to display one at a time.

Took mine out today and hit 51.1 MPH on my snowboard. Been trying to break the 50 mark for a while and without this app I would never know. By next month I 'm shooting for 60 so we'll see.

Anyone know if Sports tracker takes elevation into consideration when determing speed. Does it just use point to point GPS grid locations, i.e. 2D calculations for speed or does it use the elevation?

Am not sure but I reckon if you used on walk mode in an elevator i.e straight up or down you could find out cause if were 2D you would get no speed. we need a decent lift for the test

Good idea MrCap, anyone know of any good elevators that you can get a GPS signal in?
