I've left it to see what happens but it doesn't get going again - just counts up time.
I have checked location tagger and that still shows that the GPS is locked.

Anyone got any thoughts as to what I can do?!
All the settings seem to make sense to me.....!
I've been experiencing the same problem on my N95 8GB! i have managed to complete one workout (walking) that lasted for 1 hour, but when I try cycling or any other workout, the NST suddenly stops, apart from the timer. And it happens at random intervals, sometime the workout lasts for 1 minute, sometimes 2, and sometimes 1o minutes, no particular rule. And I tried installing several version, as well as the latest (1.78) but I'm still experiencing the same problem.
Any help will be appreciated. I am even thinking of reinstalling the firmware, if that helps :) what do you guys think?

cheers,

Do you have activity monitor installed also? These two programs still don't seem to work well together or even act friendly being installed on the same phone and don't know why. This may have changed recently but as far as I know they don't do well together. You could try reinstalling also and see if that helps

No, I have never installed activity monitor on my phone, so that's not the problem. Well, I guess the only solution is to do a hard reset, hope that will do the trick.

ooops, I just did a search on activity monitor and realized that actually activity monitor = nokia step counter, and I DID have that program installed on my phone before installing the sports tracker. however, I uninstalled the step counter few days ago, and that still didn't solve the issue I'm having with the sports tracker. One last thing I'm doing right now before *#7370# it, is to reinstall the sports tracker and see if that does the trick, if not, there's nothing else then *#7370# it.
thanks

well if you uninstalled one I would suggest uninstalling the other and then reinstall Sports Tracker. Let us know how that goes

Unhappy

Got rid of Step Counter, installed Sports Tracker - had above-mentioned problems.
Got rid of Sports Tracker, re-installed it and had slightly better usage from the program but ultimately still ended up with the same problem of stopping for no reason.

at this point I'd email them and see if they have any answers, (them being the developers)

Same thing here, I eve re-flashed my firmware today, and installed sports tracker only, but no joy, the sports tracker starts ok, runs for a minute or so, and then everything stops but the timer. I tried installing it both in the phone memory and the flash drive, but I still have the same problem. I will e-mail the developers at helpdesk@sportstracker.nokia.com tomorrow.
