First, all you guys (usually sys or net admins) that believe that avoiding hacking tools will make your day easier, I'm sorry to say but you're in the wrong direction. I give security services and putting your head in the sand won't make the situation better. so just do your job and protect your networks with RADIUS the proper way.
As for sniffing wifi traffic, you can use an application called "barbelo". you can use it with kismet.
Know that I'm not supporting any hacking etc. but I would very much want that people will be aware of placing proper security. next day it would be me that want my details stay protected in a medical center of some sort or even a private firm, and the way to get that is awareness !! (that's you - sys admins)
I was looking a simple sniffer, for times when you're in your own network and need to trace problems. I thought it would be nicer then hanging around in the building with a laptop in my hand. so if anyone know of anything like ethereal for
n95 I would be grateful.
