UPDATE ON THIS ATTEMPT:
Bottom line, yes this works... if I make a change in Outlook 2007 to the timezone it works.
Details... and roleplay:
Made up an event starting from 8pm on one day ending at 5AM the next, selected PACIFIC COAST TIME -8 within Outlook 2007. Go for a sync and some wierd ish happens.
Confirm that I changed my clock to vegas time from NY.
Pretend I just walked off the plane.. and I am nervous about my poker tourney.. so I bust out my phone... and read the cliff note.. so that I dont have to open up the event.. I got no time I want my luggage.. Im a crazy new yorker... and I see this in the abbreviated window for the date:
8:00pm- 11:59pm for one date... huh.
12:00am-5am for the second... thats if I click on the next date... I am jet lagged... and now my heart is racing... my calendar is 4ucked... I start to wonder.. perhaps.
Yes, technically that is the correct statement... but dammit... that would give me a heart failure. Cant they just let me know its a two day event from 8pm-5am.
What would drive some one nuts would be checking your events that your secretary or someone else did for you... as you settle into your seat on the plane..in the current timezone (nyc).. and seeing 11pm for that event.
With No indication its for a different time zone on your phone.
Nokia needs to step up to the plate on this app.
