Firmware upgrade of N95 to v21.0.016

A few weeks ago I have updated my N95 to fw 21.0.016 unfortunately I had a HW mulfunction on my device and I gave it to my Cell. operator for fixing.
I got it back stating my device was replaced (it looks new) but I got it with fw V 20.0.015 so I thought ok I'll go and upgrade it but I was surprised getting a message from PC Suite that my current level is the latest.
I checked it with Nokia site entering my device code and indeed it states that for my N95 the 015 level is the latest .
Any ideas how can this be if only a few weeks on different N95 I have managed to updated my NSU level to a higher one ??

Did you debrand your original handset? ie - Change the product code.? Where are you located? Please update your profile.

It sounds like your replacement has the branded firmware installed, and your previous handset, if not changed by you, may of been a refurbished, unbranded handset.

If your current handset does indeed have branded firmware, the latest firmware available that is being shown to you in NSU is specific to your operator.

I am located in Israel , I don't understand the meaning of branded my previous device was from the same operator and was purchased in the beginning of july 2007 (one of the first official ones.
is there a way to bypass this branding ? thanks

to debrand it you have to change your product code but this will void your warranty.
