Twice now in the space of about an hour I have received email. The notification showed up, it made the noise but when I went to call up the application to they the email in 'task manager', it wasn't there. Had to start the app again. Anyone else seen this?

Ok so how do I get to the advanced settings before I run the setup? As it just dies while testing networks connections, even at home with my WiFi on.

oh sorry Steven, in my case the application installed but didn't work. I then went in and tweaked the settings. In your case I'd suggest a remove and reinstall of the app if you haven't already.

Logan, looks like they are planning to charge (think this is referenced in the email) - not sure when though as my account settings state I am on trial until Jul 09??

GSI, is that charge mentioned on the site? Not seen it.

I breezed through the e-mail but like you the trial expires July 2009!

If they want to charge, I'll be uninstalling it. Not worth paying for IMHO. I'll just keep using Google Mail.

Agreed. Give SEVEN a try too.

The only reason I'm giving Nokia a look in is due to the presentation and ease of access to the inbox being better. However, I may still return to SEVEN.

All it does for me, is ask for email settings, and creates a new email address box using imap in messaging?

Same happened for me mikeh. I just deleted that box and set up again using the email settings application that the nokia app seemed to create.

I have to say though, after less than 24 hours use so far I'm not impressed.

Thing is, that app just continues to create an imap email account. Perhaps because it can't connect to my gmail imap (ssl).
