N95 8GB Main Menu problem

I've been wondering about this for quite some time and almost figured it out today. I have the latest firmware version on my mobile, which is v20 firmware. My mom has v15 firmware. Her phone's main menu view seemed a bit bigger than mine.

So it seemed bigger cuz on my phone (with the latest firmware version) the menu name and icon, battery/network level icons are bigger...so the menu icons become smaller.

Here are the screen shots of both phones.

Mom's mobile - v15 firmware

My mobile - v20 firmware

My question is, does anyone know I could make my phone's menu view like my mom's phone?
Please please PLEEEEASE help me out! Thanks :)

edit - I just realised that I've posted in the wrong section. Could someone please move this thread to the appropriate section? Thanks.

Have you tried all the default themes?

this big menu style is forced on V20 firmware for the N95 8GB,I have it on mine & so does everyone else who has v20 firmware, there is nothing you can do,you have to live with it.
Restarting, changing theme, hacking your phone will make no difference, you will get use to it after a while.

as stated before i noticed this happening when i use programs that change screen orientation. and the v20 firmware for N95-2 changes screen orientation automatically. i suspect this might be connected somehow
