Im hiding in chesterfield,

anyways,

I recently updated my firmware to v30 so the phone was erased, the apps were put back on ONLY to phone memory.

The memory card was removed, files take off (only files and folders that were visible) that contained pics, progs, vids etc

The card was put back in the phone, memory after a restart is around 27, then hovers around 23, then after a couple of hours use it stays at 14.

I restarted my phone this morning, sent 10 text to the missis. played a few games, playes pics and vids, and now the memory is 14.36mb.

I use resco viewer and photirite to view pics as thumbnails, i know these progs create tiny thumbnails on the memory card (cache) to speed up display the next time i view the pics.

I was told by someone on here a while ago that as these files arnt cached to memory, that shouldnt be the reason why my memory goes down.

Its not my phone thats the problem as if i stick in my 2gb card (which is full) the ram stays around 25mb all day.

Very strange, which is why me getting a bigger card would be pointless (boo hoo)

Upgrade went through smooth!!

Hi Guys

I recently upgraded my firmware to V30 using a generic NZ product code and it went through fine. Had no hassles what so ever. I even upgraded one of my mates mobile and that went through fine too. Had no hassles or issues with NSS.

Exclamation

Hey guys quick question:

Does changing the product code to upgrade, AND THEN CHHANGING IT BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL invalidate the warranty still?

I know for a fact that service centres can see records of changing the product code, and upgrades, but not sure if its still invalid once its changed back.

Yes, it's invalid even if you change it back.

he's not wrong, i can prove it too. just need an imei from a "changed handset"

and yes this is not nokia's doing, this IS down to the networks. nokia spent a lot of money making the n95 and i know they would like it to be used to its full potential

yes but only us at nsc's can do it
