You can install Nokia Conversations from Nokia Betalabs. That shows a user based message list with dates too. Nokia - Conversation
Be warned that this beta still has some bugs. I get along very well with it when i use it ONLY AS A VIEWER.

Bush and Cheney are in the oval office. The phone rings. It is one of the generals in Iraq. He tells Bush: "Two Brazilian Soldiers died here today".
