Question SMS restore????

Hi Peeps,

I,m new to this forum, so I hope this will help because I have a problem.
I have bought a N95 this week and I formely owned a nokia 6233 so I backuped and restored all contacts and sms with PC suite.
although it worked i have a few problems.

1) all sms that where in my inbox of my old phone are in the new phone but there arn't any names just numbers... this is pretty irritating but not that big of a problem. is there anyway to get the names to be displayed?
FYI new sms messages are displayed with correct names, so I think that there is an issue with the way the contacts are stored!

2) and this is a bigger issue..
on my old phone I had an achrive with a few maps where i stored the sms that I wanted to save.
but pc suite did not copy those folders with sms to my new N95.
I copied the folders to my PC and onto the mem card so there still available, but although it is a .VMG file when i try to open them with my N95 I get the message that that format is not supported..
The connection manger let me copy the archived files to my concept box in the sms section but after that i am not allowed to copy them to the new folders which I created on the phone.
after some research at nokia.com I found a lot of people with the same problem but there seems to be no answer.

I tryed to use Y_browser to copy and paste the files to the new folders but I cannot find the folder in wich my sms messages are stored...

could anyone help me?

kind regards
paul.
