I agree with everyone!
Its worth upgrading to iron out and old bugs and improve batterylife BUT..........
from V21 to V30 is erm, 9 (count em) Vs!
surely this update should have been V22??
Logically V30 should be the last firmware and we should have had V22, 25 and V27 to space it out.
From V13 on orange (yuck) to V21 it was a magical transformation, no more white screen of doom, crashing, batteries that lastes 4 hours.
Now on V30 the only physical difference is a new screen saver and an accelerometer which i dont use.
Sure the battery life may have been updated but by how much? 30 mins? not exactly groundbreaking.
I think of things this way, for the last few years the
N95 has been the Top deluxe phone, to buy on PAYG it was £400. Now with the release of new phones, THEY are too much for the casual user to buy, so naturally people will find the
N95 does the same stuff but a heck of a lot cheaper. So maybe the
N95 will still be around and supported for many years.
The
N95 is the PS2 of phones, old and clunky (in the shadow of better updates)
but still used and supported by many!
