Yes, exactly as stated in the titles of both threads There are V.30 versions released only for the N95-1 and N95-2. There are no new firmware versions yet for the American versions N95-3 and N95-4.

It's probably worth mentioning that a few people (including myself) have seen increased GPS performance since this upgrade

Anyone notice the freeing up of main memory?
Now have 32MB free, and that's after all my apps have been re-installed. Did delete the N-gage thingy though. Wish I could delete the icon as well!
My thoughts? Good. But would have liked to have seen DLNA like the 8G model. That would allow content to be PUSHED from the N95 to, say a PS3, like the 8G can do. |

I had a mess with my GPS this morning, it was indeed improved. The loading and locking time was instant. I mean instant too. I switched from Maps, waiting few minutes and loaded Garmin XT mobile up, that to was a full lock in seconds.
Even through my car sunroof ( it was raining at time ) Perfect.
Very happy with it.

Going back to my post - I have seen that some of the community on o2 N95-1's have already got the new firmware however I'm not seeing it. Are these o2 branded phones or through CPWH? I got mine unbranded through CPWH and still can't get the update. |

Mine was from o2 but I de branded it. My finacee has hers via o2 direct and still unbranded and she can get v21 .0.015 as the latest update.

fw v30 - n-gage prompts "Unable to read game database"
I have loaded the new firmware v30 and i'm having problems with my n-gage, i have two paid games COTD and Brothers in arms, but my n-gage prompts me with "Unable to read game database! (Error -12). My levels on the games were saved. I ran a backup and restore before and after the firmware upgrade. i don't want to lose all my saved levels, any ideas?
