Did you find the same file as me?
Of course, i have no intention of downloading it. I just didnt realise it was possible to download a firmware update. To be honest, even NSU can sometimes brick phone so people must be mental to use a dodgy version.

yeah i downloaded it... but it requires using phoenix to strip your phone off the firmware running on it and then uploading the downloaded file up onto the phone....far too risky
i mean i have done it before as i did work experience in a service center....
tbh... nsu is just 1 nail in service centers future... nsu is the future of firmware updating

i wouldn't try to update anything without Nokia PC suite, you never know what people did to the firmware file and there is no guarantee you won't brick your phone with some 3rd party firmware updater.
i think it's always worth waiting for the official release

Firmware V30.0.018 is now available for the N95-2 via Nokia Software Updater.
V20 is still showing as the latest available on the Nokia website, but I can confirm V30 is available for Euro 1 product code 0549487
