Hi all, first post asking for help, so here goes...
I need to generate a certificate using my imei number, and im sure there was a link in this site, to a guide on how to make a signed cert.
Ive used the search button, but to no avail... i can not find it now.
Can anyone help?

Here is the link, good luck!
FExplorer - Download
The download link for the software you need is at the bottom of the page...
BTW, what are you signing?

Signing certificate now is harder than before, need to email someone to actually make a request.

That's not entirely true, you just need to email to get yourself access to DevCert, then you can make as sign as many things as you like (for your device).

Can you pls tell me how to register an account on www.symbiansigned.com.
This is required to obtain .cer file from .csr.
How long does it takes to activate ?
Or is there any other way to do that.
Thanks in Advance
Amit Rajderkar.

Amit,
Thanks for posting your question in the forums.
The link I posted above is the correct way to go about signing your own applications.
However, there seems to still be problems with Symbian Signed at the moment, as I registered weeks ago, and I still haven't received my DevCert either!
They went through a website upgrade, and now they are promising that automated registrations will be available soon. At the moment, they are processing all requests manually so there is going to be a significant delay.
Unfortunately, there is no way I know of to speed up the process! All I can suggest is that you send them the email in the format they request requesting a DevCert, provided you already have an account. Unfortunately, if you do not already have an account it will not be possible at the moment as I noticed they are not taking new registrations!
We will all have to be patient I guess.....

Not sure if this is old news to everyone but:
www.symbiansigned.com now appears to be back up and fully operational including new registrations.
Anyone know where I can find a quick guide to self-signing an app. Apparently its changed from the old developer certificate method.

Hi,
I am also trying to register a new account on www.symbiansigned.com, it's showing "Access Denied". Can anyone guide me to register a new account.
Thanks
Amit Rajderkar.
