Why some N95 have different fonts?

Hi all,

It seems my N95 has a 'non-bold' font on desktop and some N95s pictures that I found on the net shows a kind of bold font, which I like to have and I think that looks a lot better than mine.. See the pics!!

Anyone knows what font is?? Is it a system font?

Thanks all!!! By the way, nice forum!

Could be the difference between text size... that can be changed in the settings of the device.

Welcome to the forum. :)

It's not font size, I just tried that. I'd imagine it depends on which theme you use. I have a theme which changes the colour of the font there, so I can't see why themes can't make it bold or not.

from the picture, the service provider is Digi, which is a Malaysian Service Provider that only provide service in malaysia. THUS, the phone is definitely Malaysian/Asian phone.

btw, the pic with the fonts u took, is identical to mine. u can try flashing ur firmware with asian firmware.. it might work (using NSS to change product code to asian product code, and re-install firmware)
