N95 Desktop

Hello fellow N95 owners,

I recent got a N95 from Orange on a contract.
Upgraded (de-branded) the firmware to the latest. Everything works fine and perfect, but the only thing I would like to have changed is the Desktop.

Where it says:

Search: Internet and My content
No calender entries today
WLAN scanning

What I want to know is if its possible to remove any of these functions from the Desktop and add others (links or shortcuts to other applications etc.)

Tried using Search function, couldn't find something relevant, sorry if it has been posted before.

Thanks a lot

What u can do is disable it and see your full wallpaper.

You cant add/remove some objects, maybe in the future there will be a program to do this, i would love to customize it my own way too :)

Settings -> General -> Personalisation -> Standby gives you a few options.
Changing Standby to S60 Standby removes everything in the center of the screen.

In "active standby apps" then you can select the shortcuts that show up, but apart from that you don't get much customisation on that front :( Hopefully they will add Active Standby Plugins with the new firmware which I know they have on older nokias.

I would like stuff on my front screen, just not the crap that it defaults to. Plug ins are eagerly awaited.
