Updating my firmware

Im having a problem updating my software on my phone. Its the same one when I bought the phone, a N95 8gb in Austraila. Its Version 10.0.021 and its says there is no updates (which is wrong!) Is it because it might be a locked phone? I bought it from a well knowen phone company.

Any help would be very very helpful

Your phone will be branded by your network which has its own firmware. In order to install the latest you'll have to debrand your device but there are [alleged] risks in doing so.
