application installer problem

New to the N95 and have a problem downloading files. when I open Nokia pc suite application installer it recognises the N95 8gb phone, but in the my device section I get the message '' The contents of the currently selected nokia device model cannot be shown by this application ''
Therefore when I select a file to transfer I do not get the green transfer arrow.
Any help would be very welcome

Thanks

"It is normal. PC Suite cannot list or uninstall any already installed apps on the phone with S60 phones (the phones are missing the corresponding functionality)."

I just tried it and got the exact same result as fugazi. I use N95-1 and it brought up the same "The contents of the.........." message for both phone memory and my mem card.
Even after selecting each medium and clicking refresh.

Never bothered using the installer... I either connect via USB in 'Mass Storage' (Data Transfer) mode or transfer the .sis files to my card, using a card-reader... or I use SymSMB, which is even easier.

I can then click on the .sis files to install them from the phone... Plus, as I save the .sis files in a folder on my card, I have a backup in case I need it... On a 4GB card, the .sis program files take up very little extra space.

thats normal operation when in PC Suite, you can go to the .sis file manually and double click or just double click on them when inside the application installer
