Question Creating Documents on N95 8GB

Hi,

As a newbie to this OS and having recently updated my mobile to the N95 8GB I was hoping that someone could tell me if there is a way to create a new word document (or similar) on this phone?
I know that QuickOffice is installed but I cannot see any way to create a new document.
Apologies if I am missing something simple.

Cheers

This version that comes preinstalled is a READ OLNY version of quickoffice. You need to purchase the full version to create word, excel and pwrpoint docs.

Thanks.

Any other free software that would enable me to create documents?
How much for full version?

Seems, to me, quite an oversight not to include document creation capabilities. For me it would be a killer feature.

Cheers

Okay, be warned that I have not personally tested these. I'd google them first before downloading.

Free symbian Office Software Download (Looks to be a doc editor/s)
Mobile Office for S60 2nd Edition freeware for Symbian phone, SymbianOS s60, s80, UIQ free downloads.

Now, text editors are different.

DEdit Text editor freeware for Symbian phone, SymbianOS s60, s80, UIQ free downloads.
LightNotepad v1.31 freeware for Symbian phone, SymbianOS s60, s80, UIQ free downloads. (I've used this one, but it will only handle small documents.)

That was a quick google search. It's up to you to do the legwork my friend.

Thanks for links.

Unfortunately QuickOffice is not supported on N95 8GB.
Mobile Office, again not supported, and only works on ODF. Would prefer better compatibility with .doc as I use this more. Both for Mac and Windows.

Thanks again though. Much appreciated.
