Vnc - online storage, Skydrive?

Hello, i am about to have my home computer (very far from me at the time) set up with a tv tuner card, orb (orb 1.0 probably because you can use dvreverywhere (also called tivoanywhere i think) to control your digital recording box) because myth tv looks far too complicated.

I will probably try live2phone also, but orb will let me get my music collection, which would be nice (i now have a personal collection online to download, but not stream, and with limited space and the internet radio stations hit or miss, this would be great)

Anyone know good VNC programs? Thats what they are called, yes? i am new to this all.. but mostly i want to be able to do everything orb won't be able to do. Move and copy files from my dvr to my hard drive, delete stuff, reorganize. And mostly be able to turn it on from standby and back to standby again (save the planet a little when you can)

Also id love to be able to control my bit torrent and other downloads (again i can do this on phone but limited space..)

are there seperate programs just for this?

in addition to this i will probably test out the new microsoft skydrive (5gb of free storage, and is there even a way to keep people from creating multiple accounts?)

any suggestions?

I found one called TsMobiles from shape services... <Removed Warez Link>

haven't had a chance to try it yet, just looking for input.

Links to WAREZ are forbidden, consider this as your first and ONLY warning!

Basically it sounds like your wanting something like a PC anywhere program that you can access via ur mobile.. i haven't heard of anything like it before, however that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

In regard to your torrents:

Utorrent UI might do the trick, im sure you could probably log into it from your mobile browser:

I've seen a few VNC clients for both Java and Symbian but they are a pain to use on a small screen.

Sydrive seems like your best bet, as you say, 5GB of free online storage, is great. Trying it out myself just now, its quite simple, but does the job!

TSmobiles works fairly well for remote access. I played with logmein for a while to but preferred TSMobiles.
