Going to give google maps a try, my question is , do i need to remove the nokia maps first from my mem card ? have had a search and cant really find anything that helps

oh you don't need to remove nokia maps to use any other maps

Watch how much data your using though,unless you have a very good data plan.

Yes be carefull...i raked up 12 quid in 24 hours of network usaged with the maps.....

Lucky i spoted it when i did.....

i tried both and i think nokia maps is better. both apps have very similar functions, but i like nokia maps more because it works without an internet connection.

by the way, i am using nokia maps 2.0 beta, i got it from here: Nokia - Nokia Maps 2.0 Beta
