FlipSilent

Hi,

I only got my N95 yesterday and whilst I love all the features it has, I was disappointed that when you close the slider it does not terminate the call.

From what I gathered, FlipSilent was a good application that would do this (plus had a few extra features).

I've downloaded the *.sis file and transfered it to my phone, but I get a "certifacte error" when I try to install even though I have the settings for applications set to "All".

I've try Googling this but it is all very confusing, especially when the phone I had before was very, very simple and didn't have anything like this.

I'm getting very frustrated with this phone and considering sending it back... but if anybody could explain to me how I'm supposed to install this application I'd really appreciate it as I'm reaching the end of my tether!!

1st install Accelerometer PlugIn (Phone Memory)
2nd sign FlipSilent
3rd Flipsilent install (Phone Memory)

I just say donate $5 or $10 to tongren, made Flipsilent and Shake SMS. He is a nice guy and he will keep you up to date on his new apps. Over all of the apps. on my phone I say that Shake SMS and Flipsilent are the best I have on my N95 just because I have had them since week one and I dont think I could go a day without both of them on my phone. Also Tongren will sign his apps for your phone for you

i totally agree regards to symbian signed... you can also click on the links in my signature to learn about getting your own DevCert so you can sign any freaking application you want (which is unsigned)!

about flipsilent and shakesms.. i don't seem to be able run shakesms properly.. its either having issues or won't be 'hidden' or won't autostart when phone boots up.. flipsilent is working fine.. do i need to update the RDAccelerometer APIs or something? feels like i'm missing something.. N95 8GB firmware 20.0.016.. you can PM me or just drop a reply here..

Just got Flip Silent v1.05 signed and installed it on my N95 8GB

I got to say it's one of the best apps I have come across, very easy to use and very very cool, wai till I show the guys at work, they'll all be clamouring for it

Also does anyone know how I can donate as there does not appear to be a link to do this
