Signup (free), and install the app.

It can use either a data connection, or Wifi.

Its pretty good, was as slow for me as I have no wifi or 3G here. But it worked.

After signing up, you just send the page link to whoever, with your username, and they can view the cam.

However, its not the sort of thing if you want to have a cam with MSN etc.

I have tried out comvu before which did the same thing. They're now called livecast so things may have changed, I didn't reinstall the software after the last firmware came out.

I really like the option of putting people live on the web. I did it to a guy at a party at my house. I was making a playlist on a laptop so I'd plugged my phone into the stereo for a bit. All of a sudden the music stops and I turn to look at the guy with my phone and the headphone jack looking stunned. I'm not sure what his intentions were, but he was on Flickr 5 seconds after I got my phone back in my hands. Video would be even better.
